This trip is only offered in small groups, so you’ll move respectfully around the community. This experience is easily tailored to vegetarian and vegan diets.
What to Bring:
Sun protection, water, and local currency for optional items! Respectful attire is required.
Included in cost:
Admission to the Old Slave Market Museum, government levies, community development fees, English speaking guide, various traditional snacks, local style lunch, sweets, and good times
→ Reserve Now & Pay Later
Reserve your spot online, and pay upon arrival. This system offers transparency in getting your tourist dollars right into the hands of your local guides. It also gives you flexibility, avoids online payment fees, and ensures that your money goes right to your travel guide! As a courtesty, please give us 12 hours notice if you need to make a change. Our small team reserves their time just for you, and fresh food is purchased for your experience. It hurts us if you don’t show up!
What makes us different?
We created Simba & Spice to offer high quality travel experiences that respect local communities, cultures and wildlife. Our staff receive fair salaries and the communities we work with are compensated for their participation in our tours. Together with our Canadian advisors and Tanzanian community partners, we show travelers the best of northern Tanzania and Zanzibar, while supporting locals along the way!
